Sheriff Principal Marysia Lewis

Marysia Lewis was appointed Sheriff Principal of Tayside, Central and Fife in 2015. Before that she served as a sheriff from 2008 and part-time sheriff from 2006. 

She graduated with an LLB from the University of Strathclyde in 1979. After her apprenticeship at Dunlop Gordon & Smythe (1979-81) she became a solicitor at Monklands District Council (1981-83) and City of Aberdeen District Council (1983-87) before moving to Ledingham Chalmers LLP (formerly Edmonds & Ledingham) firstly as solicitor and thereafter partner (1987-2008).
