Part-time Sheriff Scott - President

Janys Scott QC has been a part-time sheriff since 2005. She is a graduate of Cambridge University and practiced as a solicitor in both Scotland and England before being called to the bar in 1992.

She took silk in 2007. She is the chairman of the Advocates’ Family Law Association and represents the UK on the Family Law Committee of the Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe.
