Applications sought for office of Sheriff

The Judicial Appointments Board for Scotland (JABS) is now inviting applications from suitably qualified individuals who wish to be considered for appointment to the office of Sheriff.
Applications must be submitted by noon on Monday, 13 February 2023.
The Office of Sheriff Information Pack, provided by the Judicial Office for Scotland, provides applicants with information about the role. A Sheriff is paid £147,338 per annum.
During the current appointment round it is expected that further vacancies may arise and the board may be asked to make further recommendations as a result.
It is expected that successful applicants will take up post in September 2023.
