New Temporary Judges Appointed

Scottish Ministers have appointed four sheriffs to act as temporary judges in the High Court.
The following sheriffs have been appointed:
- Sheriff Steven Borthwick KC
- Sheriff Frances McCartney
- Sheriff Andrew McIntyre
- Sheriff Ian Wallace
Sheriffs Borthwick, McCartney, and McIntyre will take up their appointments from 1 April 2026.
Sheriff Wallace will commence his appointment on 8 July 2026.
